LA KITCHEN is a online cooking format released by Magenta TV and co-produced with Johann Lafer. The chef build a diverse „LA KITCHEN Family“ team of amateur chefs, together they share a broad taste of dishes and favorite recipes, offering entertaining step by step guides.

With Johann‘s signature style and already established brand in mind, I created the elegant, but bold design for the show, along with its overall look and feel.

The opening titles focused solely on the quality of the produce, bringing them to life by highlighting their bold and vivid colors and features. Arranged in an atypical way to captivate the audience, naturally establishing the show as a high-quality product.

The Logo is clean and refined by integrating elements of Lafer’s Magazine Logo to establish a connection between the two media formats. Followed by the concept for the opening titles, I supervised the shoot and executed its post production.

With the intention of a rather organic flow and unity between the design elements and compositons, I created sleek and smooth typography animations. The bright yellow colors add a boldness to the clean and elegant typography, bringing attention to the viewer’s eyes. 

The filming style features speed ramps and slow motion sequences to visualize the show‘s premium quality and content. This look is elevated by the grading, with its overall desaturated and rather cold tones. Contrasting the vivid tones of the produce, standing out with their colorful appearance.
